I am Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of L’Aquila (Italy). My research lies at the intersection of analytic metaphysics, trust, and the philosophy of Artificial Intelligence, with a particular focus on how metaphysical analysis can inform ethical and technological practice.

I received my PhD in Philosophy from the University of Nottingham (UK). My dissertation, No Time for Powers, examined the relationship between dispositional properties and temporal ontologies. These topics continue to be central to my research: I remain actively engaged with questions concerning time, causation, and dispositions, and I continue to publish in this area alongside my work on trust and AI.

Over the years, I have developed a strongly interdisciplinary research profile. Since 2018, I have been involved in multidisciplinary research on AI ethics and human–machine interaction within the Exosoul project, where I collaborate with philosophers, computer scientists, jurists, sociologists, and psychologists. This work addresses issues such as trustworthiness, bias, and human augmentation.
